Feature Request: Global floating search bar like Raycast / Spotlight

Currently context menus are great for selected files. However, many desktop operations don't start with a file selection (e.g., currency converter, timestamp utils, scratchpad).

Suggestions:

  1. Configurable global hotkey (e.g., Alt + Space or Double Ctrl).
  2. Floating centered search palette with fuzzy filtering.
  3. Arrow key selection + Enter to run.

Agreed! The global floating palette is already in progress on our development branch and will land in the next major build.

Awesome! Passing inline arguments to plugins just like Raycast would be top notch.

+1, typing rename --prefix test_ directly is so much faster than multiple mouse clicks.
